ORLAND PARK, IL – Tom Lia's commitment to fire service and public safety spans more than 40 years. The fire safety advocate began his career as a paid-on-call firefighter for the City of Oak Forest in 1977 where he earned certifications as an emergency medical technician and paramedic.
