"Door Belles" Volunteer at The Cancer Support Center Homewood Shop

The Village Door, at 2019 Ridge Road in downtown Homewood, is a vintage and consignment store offering an array of high-quality resale items. Proceeds benefit The Cancer Support Center, with locations in Homewood and Mokena, and its free programs and services for those affected by cancer.

Also known as “The Door,” the shop was founded shortly after The Cancer Support Center debuted in the early 1990s, opening its doors on June 28, 1994. It was founded by the late Joan Dobrez and the late Dee Adam.
